This is my precious Peanut! He was the runt of my girls first litter! I bottle fed him and decided to keep him an extra couple weeks to make sure he was healthy enough to go to a new home! Needless to say 21 months later... I have always been cautious about BLOAT because his grandmother died from it! He began showing signs of it around 2AM but I couldn't imagine that was what it was because he hadn't eaten for several hours and we were getting ready for bed! The ER hospital is over an hour away and by the time we got there his stomach gasses were 3× the normal count! The ER vet said he wasn't a candidate for surgery so I had to let him go!! It was the most painful thing I have ever experienced! I love my keepsake urn from Fanery Sue so I can always keep him close!
